FarmVille Quest: Catch Some Fireflies
It’s Summer Time and one way to celebrate it in a FarmVille Quests is to catch some fireflies with Zoologist Dave. It’s a 9 part mission where players will help Zoologists David enjoy summer by doing what he likes best, getting in touch with nature. Help him gather materials and parts to catch some of this beauties and keep them safe while admiring their uniqueness. There will be some crafting requirements in the Craftshop on this quest. It will be convenient if you gathered the necessary parts and reserved it early to avoid scrambling for bushel when you reach that stage. There are two 2 days crops, two harvest a Pen tasks and two animal mastery. Note: This FarmVille guide for Fireflies Quests may change as this is currently unreleased. Expected roll out will be on June 28 (Thursday).

It is a good quest. But beware fv might take fv cash…it did mine !!
For Fireflies Quest 7 “The Yellow Ones”, you may substitute Jalapeno Peppers for regular Peppers. I found this out by accident. I had Peppers planted for this step, and when I harvested the Jalapeno Peppers I had ready for a Craftshop recipe, the Quest menu showed “Progress” with a green check mark. I do not know if other Peppers, such as Sichuan Peppers, will work.
I just found out that for the last objective…Carnival squash also works. Not sure about the others but an 8 hour crop rather than a 2-day one…better than nothing. 😀

I never use any FV cash for this quest. why you say you might need FV cash?
For Fireflies Quest 9 “Firefly Horse”, you may substitute Pattypan Squash (a 16-hour crop) for regular Squash (a 2-day crop). I had both planted to see if the Pattypan would work, and obviously it does.
I just want to know that I mistake recycle e my Jade Habitat together will all the animals that I got from the quest is there anyway I can get back the pen & the animals.
Generally speaking, anything with the root word in the crop will suffice to satisfy. If the quest says “Bell Peppers” only that will do. But “Peppers” can be satisfied by “Fire Peppers” and surprisingly “Jalapenos.” Squash can be satisfied by “Acorn Squash,” “Carnival Squash,” & “Pattypan Squash,” Corn can be satisfied by “Polesole corn” & “Butter & Sugar Corn.” I’ve had “Hilo Pineapples” be rejected for “Pineapples,” but in the Pony quest it worked.
Candied yams are the shortest to harvest vegetable.
