FarmVille Quest: Get the Farm Ready for a Picnic
Get the farm ready for a picnic in FarmVille Quests: The Planter Picnic. This is part of the Spring Season missions. There are lots of things to do with this quest like adding some flowers and birds to your farm. We know that every good picnic must have a perfect spot where you can do a good spirited competition and you will need to help on finding one. You’ll also have to take care of some extra considerations like planning for a good nighttime picnic fun and fix flowers for the perfect picnic centerpieces. So FarmVille farmers lets prepare our farm and animals including the duck and sheep for a Picnic Quest. You may have to build a Baby Play Pen for this one because you will need to harvest it for one of the task. If you don’t have one yet just head to our Building Material page or to our guide.
The Planter Picnic Quest 1: FarmVille Picnic Preparations

Tip: Place and harvest the Sprung Tree in an Orchard (1.5 day).

Quest 2 you can’t put messy picnic cow in Livestock Pen you have to put in cow pasture

My messy picnic cow won’t go in a livestock pen. It will only go in a cow pasture or a dairy farm. Too bad I harvested all of those and left the livestock pens ready to harvest. 🙁 Oh well.
it will go to zero but then if u refresh the page or give it about a minute or two it will go back to 100.
Auwww… When I put Messy Picnic Cow to a ready to be harvested Dairy Farm instead of Cow Pasture, it turn to 0% instead of 96%… That’s not fair… 🙁
Somehow after an hour, it was ready to be harvested again… So Dairy Farm works as well… 🙂
White Grapes (12 hours) count towards the 100 Grapes for Task 3.
The Planter Picnic quest 3 you can use the 12 hour grapes also.
do NOT make the mistake i did and try to put the fetching beagle into the baby playpen. it MUST go in a pet run. harvests in one day there, 2 days on farm.

When it asks you to harvest the Sprung Tree twice, just move it to another orchard. Just make sure you put it in a farm that has two orchards. Don’t worry, it won’t change your percentage rate. If the orchard is ready to harvest, it will still be ready to harvest AFTER you put your tree in there. It’s really cool that they let you do that since the animal pens aren’t that way.
Im wondering why i did not get the XP Book as a reward in doing this Quest the 4th time, Is it bec i’ve done it already 3x? It’s a lot of work, effort and time in doing the quest, it is so frustrating not giving the reward..
Maybe you can ask the Zynga customer support. Sometimes it do get bugged. I didn’t have the chance to repeat this quest because after i finished this the pop-up message asking for a repeat didn’t appear 🙁 this usually happens when the last task that i have to do is the get items.
Did u solve ur problem regarding that Quest ( Picnic) I also didn’t recieve that XP book , that was my second time doing it .. not fair cuz its alot of work n asking friends to send the items
How come when I finished the Picnic Quest I didn’t recieve my XP BOOK ??
Im see others are having this problem also not just me ..
About the XP Book some really had problem when receiving this reward. You can contact the Zynga/FarmVille support they will surely assist you on this matter.
