FarmVille Lighthouse Cove Quests: Time To Get Cooking
A new challenge awaits in Lighthouse Cove farm in FarmVille time to get cooking! It’s a new Lighthouse Cove quest in 2013 as players will be visiting one of the first farm extension again to take a Cookoff Challenge. The challenge will be from Rollie, one of the resident NPC of Lighthouse Cove.
The FarmVille Lighthouse Cove Cookoff will be a 12 stage quests and will run for 30 days. There is no asking for friends for help or items tasks. it will all be harvesting and crafting. So prepare your Restaurant and expand your LC farm as this will require a medium to large size farm because of the number of crops that will be harvested. Some new players may not have the Lighthouse Cove farm and in case you don’t have it you can always request to open it for you by filing a support ticket to Zynga. Note: The quest requirements and numbers may still change prior or while it is ongoing. Expected release date will be this Thursday, April 25.

If I only have to harvest crops and make recipes, I may be able to bet this one. I can’t really beat the ones that need the recipes to reach a certain level, I’m way behind on recipe levels.
My resterant is only available for 80 FV so I can’t craft.Please tell me where to make a complaint.
Try searching it in Lighthouse Cove by using the “Search” function. If it is really not there try filing a support ticket a Zynga. I remember there’s a case the same as yours (missing Restaurant) when they release last year the Brenda’s return to Lighthouse Cove quest. What she did is she requested one from the customer support and she was granted one.

In the Crafting section building in lighthouse cove. there a crafting building call restaurant. I would like to ask. How do we get / buy the restaurant in lighthouse cove? its button are gray and are locked at the moment (limit to 3). Are there any level requirement?
This Quest still has not popped up for me. I have the Australia Early Access, Atlantis, Environmental Issues and Her Own Medicine Quests up.
What a joke! No decent prizes and no coin expansions. Typical rubbish designed to get you to spend real money for FV cash.
Will not spend 80 FC on the restaurant for LC quest! Have not seen any quest before that requires you to use FC! I would really like to do this quest but would love any suggestions on how to get the restaurant with coins! Please help!
Leslie, how many other crafting buildings do you have on your LC farm? I think there’s a limit and if you have too many, then maybe that’s why you can’t purchase the restaurant for coins.

The restaurant is available for 100.000 coins, not FC. You must be in Lighthouse Cove in order to be able to buy it.
any ideas on how to get more lobster?
Still cannot get the restaurant for 100,000 coins. No matter what I do! Do the animal pens count because I got rid of everything and still nothing! And no good way of contacting Zynga!

Just click “craft now” be carefull not to hit skip. it will take you to where you need to craft it. It is just called “cream pie”
@Leslie: Do you happen to have any other crafting building (like a bakery) on the Lighthouse Cove farm? If so you might want to get rid of it and then you should be able to buy the restaurant for coins.
Leslie..i think you have accidentally delete you restaurant so that why it only show 80 FCash option to buy it..
(Based on my experience i once deleted everything in Hawaii Farm with intending to redecorate the farm and apparently was not a wise move… there was no longer an option to buy the tiki bar using FC coin anymore in the menu but only an option to purchase it with 80 FCash )

Where do I get seafood bushels? I thought the cove, but only getting clam and lobster?

This might help,
Remember the Back to Lighthouse Cove Quests few months ago? some of the players also experience this not able to buy the Restaurant. They found a solution by selling all the crafting building in the Lighthouse Cove. This means all the “crafting building” or “building that crafts”. Once you don’t have any crafting building in Lighthouse Cove, the buy option for coins will appear. Don’t worry about loosing your progress because the game saves it and will be back once you buy again.

not only i got the restaurant in LC … i also got back my Tiki bar at Hawaii farm with out spending 80 F Cash.
Really wish we had a coin expansion for this one. I don’t think its going to be possible with the amount of crops towards the end. Especially since they’re one day crops. That’s 4 days for just one leg of the quest. I’m on the lobster roll part. Have one more round of lady slippers AND dill left. Quest is over a week from tomorrow. Calculating time left this is how it works out
Lady Slipper – 6pm today.
Dill – Monday AM
Red Clover & Hay – Wednesday morning (only because I have super hay unlocked and can plant it on other farms)
Potato & Cranberry – Sunday AM
Lady Slipper & Cranberry – no way to finish by monday AM without using up instagrows.

PS – the 928 crop parts will take even longer since all I have for plots is 435. Potato = 1 day grow. Cranberry = 1 day grow. So that’s 5 days to get past that leg. Then another round of 928 crops x 2? Yeah with careful planning you can carry the cranberry harvest over,and the lady slipper is only 8 hours but still.
And another PS since I can’t edit my posts. I just checked into it.. in case others (like myself) didn’t know this, you CAN plant super crops on other farms. I thought the super crop had to be mastered not just unlocked. Would have been nice to have known this at the beginning. But eh. So maybe it is possible… IF you have the super crops (kennebec, lady slipper, hay etc) unlocked.
I randomly discovered a while ago about being able to plant Super crops on other farms. Sometimes have to search for them, as they don’t always show as Super crops.
How are you supposed to get lobster bushels? I’m still getting clams and seafood bushels. RGGGGGGG!
It’s random from the Lighthouse.
First time you sign on FV for the day, see if you can get the bushels from neighbors before getting other kinds of bushels. I got lucky with the lobster/clam harvests. Got the ones I needed from the lighthouse when I need them. And always checked neighbor bushels and shopped ahead of time. Now if only I was getting credit for my super kennebec potatoes.
the super crops are not counting towards the quest-i tried the kennbec potatoes and it didnt work!!!
I planted Super Lady Slipper on a different farm. They counted for me. Perhaps planting Super crops actually on Lighthouse Cove is the problem.

Lovely… Just harvested 1000 super kennebec potatoes on my england farm and got ZIP for credit. Back to my opinion in my original post.. WTF zynga -_-
No way to get this done when we only have 435 plots to work with.. unless of course we want to spend real life money on a pretend farm. -___-
Thinking about it.. this has to be some kind of glitch that will hopefully resolve by tomorrow. I planted and harvested super hay on my england farm just yesterday and got credit.
Some Super Crop will count towards the quest and some are not. Among the Super Crop that might actually count are:
Super Lady Slipper in Quest 12 and 9
Super Hay in Quest 10
Super Dill in Quest 9
Super Blueberries
So, I wrote to zynga explaining that I didn’t get the credit for the potatoes. They answered within hours and said they took care of it. Well.. they gave me the horse that is the reward for that part, but now the quest is gone from my game. And they didn’t give me the cow. -_-
I find it pretty messed up that only some of the super crops count… and of course NOT the ones where you would need to harvest a boat load.
What is the need to grow so many hundred crops
and why make so many pies etc? It takes so much time and sometimes we are unable to complete the quest within the time frame. make the quest fun
by giving moderate number of tasks.
