FarmVille Hawaii Chapter 10: More fun in Hawaii Quest
Ukelele Bill is back in another round of Hawaiian Paradise Quests in FarmVille More fun in Hawaii. This may be considered as the chapter 10 of Hawaii quest but this not your typical quest as this one is more tougher and requires more time to do. This Hawaii quest has not only have 12 part but each part has more challenging task as it requires larger number of crops to be harvested. It will have more number of crafting a recipe and also a task that requires you to attain a certain level of a Tiki Bar recipe. So there will be lot of crafting. If you are not up for a challenge or don’t have that much time to play don’t stress yourself on doing this new FarmVille Hawaii mission. Remember “this is not a must do”. But if you’re up to it and want more challenge in the game, the mission will run for 30 days and the good thing about this it doesn’t have the request items that a normal quest has, so you’ll just concentrate on planting and keeping track on bushels. Good Luck!

thank you..
Hmmm…too bad I already started this quest. Some of the prizes have already been offered via other quests and I own them now. I don’t see anything too spectacular in prizes for chapter 10. SO, I guess the 29 days or so will be good for those who have a hard time planting and gathering items. The Jade Falls quests are challenging and have a shorter time to complete, but at least the prizes are fun and different. 😀
Hey FarmVille, If you are going to do something like this NEW STUFF would be fantastic!
Thank you, thank you!!! Please have more quests like this where we are challenged on our own time and not limited to waitng for “friends” to respond to advance.
Pleased to see a new quest for Hawaii. This will be quite a challenge.
Too much crafting not enough storage to do all this
In the bushels list, don’t forget how many bushels you’ll need of stuff we DON’T plant, to level up three recipes (Poi, Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Yam Fries).
This is insane. Yet, I’m attempting.
Think I’ll leave this one out. Just calculated that if I concentrate on just leveling my Yam Fries and did nothing else and assuming 3 bushels per harvest it would take me 44 days!
Question: is there a guide anywhere that shows how many items must be crafted per level to level up the item?
Example: Let’s say I’d just leveled up my Poi to Level 16. To get Poi to Level 17, I have to craft Poi 7 more times. To get to Level 18, I’d have to craft it 8 more times (guessing here), and so on.
I’d like to know how many items must be crafted PER LEVEL up to the levels required to pass each stage of this quest.
The three items I’m most interested in are, of course:
Poi (to Level 25)
Sweet & Sour Shrimp (to Level 30)
Yam Fries (to Level 35)
With a Level 5 Tiki Bar, one can make SIX items every six hours assuming one has the bushels, so if one is a dedicated planter with large farms, one could legitimately craft on average three rounds of six items per day (allowing for sleep time).
With careful planning, it’s possible (barely) to uplevel the required items and still make the enormous amount of other items in-between.
There is, you’re on the right course JBeez ^^ here are the rest of it 🙂

I keep getting only three bushels after harvesting 115 plots of yam… Wondering how I will ever get to level 30 in sweet and sour shrimp and level 35 in yam fries???
Yes, this is insane. I am doing up through the third one for the unwithers, but sitting out the rest.
The most maddenning issue here I think, is not the length of time they give us to complete, nor is it the actual quests and it’s intracasies involved in these specific quest requirements, but the “prize” that is awarded for these outrageous “new” quests. I say “Hey Zynga” make these quests as ridiculous as you want, after all this is your game”, but at least make the pot of gold at the end of these long LONG raimbows worth the effort. Your prizes don’t change, but your quests keep getting bigger and bigger and requires more time and effort on everyone’s part to complete, or at least have the common sense to stop initiating these quests back to back. Give these farmers some breathing room between New Quests.
I started this quest series..but I’m not doing it. just not. It’s CLEAR Zynga is trying to FORCE us into spending real $…. Just getting my poi to level 25 (I think I’m at level 13 now) would be a full-time job. Planting taro every 6 hours, insufficient storage, so I’ll end up ‘losing’ bushels I’ve made… I haevn’t upgraded to be able to make 6 goods at a time (just hasn’t been worth 1 million coins to me to do it) – but even if I made 6 poi at a time…it will take forever to get poi leveled up. IF we only had to level up one good many levels – i’d consider. The titled this series “FUN in Hawaii??” There’s very little ‘fun’ in FV anymore. Between game not loading, then crashing, and being on verge of having to set alarm clock to keep track of what to harvest when – because there are too many quests and projects going at one time..AND insufficient storage, insufficient gift box capacity….I’m just about ready to join the ranks of FORMER farmers. I’ve lost so many FV friends I can’t get the help I need either. And depiste how much we post comments, or ask them to PLEASE back off/slow down – they INTENSIFY game requirements.
Wish this one had a free shipping license for all the aggrivation, like the Jade Falls challenge.
Yah, shipping license would be nice reward. Leveling the recipe is quite a struggle.
I find this quest really cool BUT….not enough time to finish it and the prize at the end hardly makes all the time and effort to finish worth it. What’s cool about it is it’s really different than the usual quests. I enjoyed that change
Just remember, you get equal credit for selling an item as well as making one. Friends can greatly enhance your production by purchasing your “poi”, “shrimp” or “yam fries”. Items/goods can be purchased from any winery, bakery, pub or even a lone Market Stall. Friends can purchase as many of your goods as they have farms, on a Daily Basis by going farm to farm. (5 farms = 5 recipes/day).
I started this to get coconuts, which I desperately need. I wonder if I would have been better off planting Royal Taro and Oysters (which give more coconuts per hour) rather than Shrimp and Yam, which I continuously needed to get my Sweet and Sour Shrimp from level 9 or so to level 30.
I just got Sweet and Sour Shrimp to level 30 today, with a lot of help from three of my very good neighbors. Needless to say I won’t bother building the Aviary for the next Quest because it will take three days to get past that point yet there are only two days left.
