FarmVille Quests: Welcome Back to Lighthouse Cove
Do you miss Brenda? If does we will be with her again in FarmVille welcome back to Lighthouse Cove, a more likely be Chapter 11 of Lighthouse Cove Quests. This new FarmVille Lighthouse Cove Quests for 2012 will be a 12 part mission and will run for 30 days. The same as the previous 30 day quest (eg. Back to England or More Fun in Hawaii) but this version of Lighthouse Cove quest will have no request items or asking friends for help items nor mastering animals. Instead players will be crafting a decent amount of numbers of recipe and planting crops exclusively for the LC farm. There will also be a requirement for leveling up a recipe. Note: This quest is currently unreleased and may still change. Players may have this on a slow roll out and may start appearing beginning Dec 7.

I guess I should expand my Lighthouse Cove farm if I’m going to do this quest. My farm only has 225 plots right now.
Ok I bought the 2 coin expansions available and I’m still only at 435 plots 🙂

Don’t know if I will be able to do this one unless the restaurant is given to us. You have to use the restaurant for your crafts, which I don’t have and it cost 80 FC!
You can buy a Restaurant for 100,000 coins. You must be in Lighthouse Cove farm for the Coin option to appear. image
acmclure, thanks for the information. I went to the Lighthouse Cove farm but mine still only has the restaurant for 80 FC,mine is missing the option to buy it for 100,000 coins. I think this might be because I wasn’t playing farmville when Lighthouse Cove came out. I hope if or when this quest comes out that I will be able to buy the restaurant for coins.
That is strange. It is supposed to be one of the default building when we arrived in Lighthouse Cove together with the Lighthouse.
acmclure, I really believe that it has to do with my absence from Farmville. Even my craft shop has not been updated to include some of the craft items that my friends can make in their shop. The only farms available before I had to quit playing were the home farm and New England farm. When I started back playing I had Lighthouse Cove, but by this time all the quest for the farm had ended.
I hope I can have this fixed and is quest will be offered because I like all the building that you can get on this quest.

Yes!! A challenge! I’m not impressed with the prizes, but to complete all the quests will be great enough…wow! Level 35 for cheddar cheese…guess it’s time for me to get cheesy 🙂

My quests popped a few minutes ago.
About the restaurant — I did not have it either and did NOT have the option to buy with coins. Support Chat was online and I contacted them and they gave me the restaurant. I’d strongly suggest contacting support, either thru chat or email and ask for the restaurant.
To be fair, I did say I was too cheap to buy it with FC but would be happy to buy it with coins. I got a great agent and was very happy with the experience. Now to level up the restaurant! 😀
I don’t have the coin option for the Restaurant either and I believe I was using Lighthouse Cove since right around when it first came out (although I never purchased the Restaurant back then). I’m not spending 80FC, so I guess I’ll be skipping this quest 🙁
Patricia M., I just figured it out from another website myself. I was outraged at the 80 FC cost, but if you sell ALL of your other crafting buildings on Lighthouse Cove (they save your progress, don’t worry) then try to buy it you’ll get the 100,000 coin option. You can then purchase the other craft buildings back (at 0 coins each), however you can only have three all together on one farm. I had the spa, bakery, and winery on LC, but I’ll just put the spa on Hawaii now.
Thanks, Tim. I only had the spa on my Lighthouse Cove farm, but once I deleted it, the option appeared for me to purchase the restaurant for coins.

I finally got the quest and Emailed support to get help with the issue over the restaurant. I am happy to say that they sent me the restaurant right away so I am able to do the quest. What is great about this is I didn’t have to spend $100,000 coins or 80 fc.

good luck to all who are just now getting the restaurant to do the quest. some of them are ridiculous! if you’re not using cash i reeeeally don’t think it can’t be finished in 30 days starting from 0. another strike against is the fact that crops that are cove crops, can’t be grown elsewhere even w/license.
seeing this helped me decide to stop doing the quest.

The super crops can be planted on other farms – the crops don’t appear for sale but if you type them in they come up. I planted some super hay on my other farms.
This quest isn’t really that challenging – I already have the recipes to 30+ – but for all the planting and crafting, the prizes suck. I’ll be doing it, but for this work, they should give out some new animals.
Can you plant the peppermint on another farm?
You can plant peppermint anywhere.
I started the quest late, I think. Been so long, I can’t remember. At any rate, there are 7 days left and #5 is almost complete. Needless to say there are 7 more tasks in this quest. I doubt that I will finish. The prizes are not that exciting, but the quest is challenging. The only people who might finish are the players who have recipes leveled up to 25 or higher.
It took me about 2 days to complete #5, just didn’t have the space to plant and even with using a bushel for mastery, I still had to plant more to finish the recipes.
SIGH!
I’m stock on #9, waiting to get my creamed corn up to 30. Only reason I even got this far is cuz I started collecting the bushels weeks before this quest was released. I still only started about level 15 for blackberry ice cream, creamed corn & cheddar cheese. I didn’t even have a 5 start craftshop when i started it.
I’d only been using Lighthouse to hold all my animal pens for the other quests.
I harvested over 500 Daylillies and haven’t gotten even 1 bushel!!! I really thought I would finish this one… I get less and less bushels this is getting annoying it’s not really fun anymore. I’m too busy doing tasks to finish anything I am still trying to build the big barn and bumpercars. Don’t think I got even 1 piece for my sleigh….
The way to get the bushels is to use the fertilize-all on the crops. I am not going to complete this Quest either because FarmVille has too many other quests ,the Leader board and had the Club going that requires us to grow crops for those.
I barely finished the quest and I did have to spend FV cash. The requirements were completely outrageous and 30 days is not enough to complete, unless you have a huge farm, mastered crops and little to zero space in your market. The trick to getting more bushels is to use ferilize all, free up plenty of space in the market and use one bushel for mastery. If you’re still not producing a large amount of bushels with these options, you should contact Zynga Support – they will help you. Have a great day!
